About Our Church

We are thrilled to welcome you to our congregation!

Welcome

We’re excited to worship with you.

It is our prayer that our Savior blesses you with His life-changing Word. We would love to share the joy that we have with you–all because we have free and full forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. We agree with the shepherds in Luke 2:15, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” What joy we have that Jesus Christ has died for our sins to make us right with God! That means no matter what we’ve done, no matter where we’ve been, we have free and full forgiveness through faith in Christ. Come and share this joy with us!

Who are Bethlehem members?

What kind of church is Bethlehem?

First and foremost, Bethlehem is a Christian church.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the real Savior of all people.  By his perfect life, innocent death, and triumphant resurrection, he saves all lost sinners even without our help.

Jesus Christ makes us a special people, right with God and ready for life! We learn this from the Bible, God’s authentic message of grace and guidance for us. This is where we also learn to appreciate the mystery and mercy of the triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Every Bethlehem member is informed and involved as part owner in our mission to glorify God, grow in his word, and spread his Word to the world.

The angels sang good news to anyone who was in the shepherd’s fields, and so do we.  We welcome you, no matter who you are or where you come from.

Bethlehem is a Lutheran church affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

Who are Bethlehem members?

You will find a wide range of members aged 0-92 from Carmel to west, north, and east Indy. Twenty-somethings, grandpas and grandmas, suburban families, young couples, and plenty of children make Bethlehem a place to feel welcome.

What is the process for membership?

Membership at Bethlehem means more than a person’s name on a church roster.  Membership is about creating relationships. Click here to read more about how to become a member.
